Invoicing for a business with appointments: numbering, card payment and reminders
What the invoicing of a business with bookings must solve, and what is better not to promise yet.

A business with appointments issues many small invoices. What matters is that they are numbered properly, that they can be collected with no effort and that nobody has to chase a customer to be paid.
Numbering with no gaps
An issued invoice has a number that is never repeated or skipped. In Axon they are numbered by series and year, and once issued they are kept unaltered: if there is a mistake it is fixed with a credit note, not by editing.
Card payment from the invoice itself
An invoice can carry a link to pay by card. The payment goes into your Stripe account, and the invoice is marked as paid when Stripe confirms it, not when someone says so.
Reminders and recurring invoices
Monthly fees have recurring invoices that prepare themselves, and payment reminders go out only once per invoice so you do not pester the customer.
What it does not do yet
Axon does not send invoices to the tax authority: the sending system (Verifactu) has not been built. If you need it, your adviser still handles it. It is better to say so than to promise what does not exist.
How to start
Set your issuer (company name, tax ID, series), pick the invoice design and issue the first one. With the invoice book you can give your accountant what they need each quarter.
If you want to see the whole flow with your own data, ask for an Axon demo.
