Session packs and bundles: how to sell them online and use them up automatically

A bundle builds loyalty and brings revenue forward, but only if it is easy to buy and to use. How to set it up for a business with appointments.

Session packs and bundles: how to sell them online and use them up automatically

A session bundle (five massages, ten classes, a treatment pack) is one of the simplest ways to build loyalty: the customer pays in advance and comes back. The trouble is usually the paperwork: who bought it, how many sessions are left and when it expires.

What a good bundle has

A clear name, the price, which services it covers, how many sessions it includes and how long it lasts. With that the customer knows what they buy and you know what you promise.

Selling online, without middlemen

In Axon a bundle is a product in your shop: it is paid by card into your own Stripe account and only activated when Stripe confirms the payment. Nobody ends up with an unpaid bundle and you do not write anything down by hand.

Using it up without thinking

When a customer books one of the services it covers, the bundle is settled with the appointment. On the customer's card you see how many sessions are left and, if it expires, until when.

What happens with a refund

If a payment is refunded or disputed, the bundle is cancelled. The balance of sessions always matches what was really charged.

Before you launch

Think about validity (three months, a year?), which services are included and how you explain it on the web. A confusing bundle creates more questions than sales.
